Someone reports: This problem was discovered & corrected in FALKON, early this year, beginning with release #24...
However Q4OS (Linux distro) Discover & Synaptic programs, both show old version #23... Why hasn't this been updated ? !
I have since loaded Google's browser and the eBay logon-problem ceased.
I can only add, If you are using FALKON, DO NOT logon to any site that "offers" to use your everyday ID(s) & passwords.
Who reported this ? An un-identified eBay user !
But, of course, you must logon to ebay, to find it !

The above problem, was entered into a support-forum,
with hope that the software authors do something !
Why would they ?
If I cannot buy something from eBay, I'll go someplace else.
Thats the shopper's reaction,
I'm addressing the crook that gets paid to prevent me from buying from eBay.
If I ever get near you, I will break your nose !
Lesson learned : Don't ever reveal your passwords.
