KVM Switch Always Types on PC1

So...I'm having trouble with a KVM switch tk-409 v1.3R (or is it 409k?). In my office setup, I'm using two computers with linux mint 21.3. I've applied all the updates as of about sunday on both machines. One is a laptop hooked up to a docking station, which is connected the kvm. It's sharing speakers too. An old model of kvm switch just died. This was it's replacemnt. I'm using the same things at home, two, and everything works. At home, I am using the laptop for bringing into the office. It's the same kind of docking station. It's the same keyboards and mice setup, logitech MK320s. Plus a sayo device plus a wireless touchpad. It's the same programming in the sayo device. It works at home, it doesn't work a the office. In the office, it will always send the keyboard and mouse presses to the desktop pc, whichever one it's hooked up to. If I swith to the laptop, it won't send anything there. I may have missed updating some spices though. Call me crazy, but I tried to purchase a 2.0 version, to see if that works, and I got another keyboard, to see if that works. On my home computer, there (on 1) is a mac and windows (turned off), client. But there is that same linux mint machine which works there. At the office, both computers are on the same kernel version
