sub-sub-sub-genius Slacker seeks veteran Slacker

ffmpeg-4.2.10 and ffmpeg-4.4.5 were made this month.
avidemux_2.7.8 is delivered with ffmpeg-4.2.4
/avidemux_2.7.8/avidemux_core/ffmpeg_package/ffmpeg-4.2.4.tar.bz2
avidemux_2.8.1 is delivered with ffmpeg-4.4.2
/avidemux_2.8.1/avidemux_2.8.1/avidemux_core/ffmpeg_package/ffmpeg-4.4.2.tar.bz2
it's easy to modify the source and then recompile the Slackbuid.
but it would change Slackware's law not to touch the source.
how do I inject the new version of ffmepg with the Slackbuild?
