Ubuntu Jammy does not sleep anymore

Hello,
I have been running Ubuntu 22.04 on my desktop PC for over 2 years and until a few weeks ago I could put it to sleep overnight with the keyboard. I don't know what changed but I assume it is due to a software update that now it seems to wake up right away again. When I press <Menu-F8> a pop-up says "you are now disconnected" as it did when it worked but after a minbute or less another pop-up says "you are now connected".
System:
Linux 5.15.0-119-generic #129-Ubuntu SMP Fri Aug 2 19:25:20 UTC 2024
MB: ASUS Prime B650M-A-CSM
CPU: AMD Ryzen-7 7700 with Radeon graphics
Window mgr: XFCE 4.16 but until 07/2023 I ran KDE and I still have pieces KDE software lying around - I did not re-install.
I am attaching the syslog starting when I pressed <Menu-F8>
What else can I try to give you more information?
Thank you
