Installing MacOS pkg on Slackware
by olivier_be from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6QK9X)
Hi,
can someone tell me if there is a way to install a MacOS pkg on slackware, and if so how ? I managed to find an opensource equivalent to all apps I use except one: the software to recharge my public transport card online via the site (Belgium) https://www.stib-mivb.be/mystib/?l=en. The only versions offered are for Windows and MacOS. Since it is an app that works in connection with the web browser, I don't think I can install it via Wine. so the only solution I see is to convert the MacOS pkg into a package for Slackware...
I contacted the STIB company but they told me that they cannot currently make a version for Linux because there are too few users of this operating system.
Thanks
Olivier
