For class i'm trying to insert a module. For the life of me i cannot get my squashfs.ko to show, respond or do ANYTHING. I have tried to reinstall the /lib content folders, i have tried to wget-install the newest update. No matter what steps I've been offered through AI's help, i cannot get it to load! It does not show up when i grep to find it. it does not respond to modprobe or find. I do not even see it listed among my modules. Ubuntu vm machine is supposed to support squashfs.ko,right?
what am i doing wrong?
i've got to do this https://www.thegeekstuff.com/2013/07...kernel-module/ for a test and i cannot even get past the 2nd step. i'm really upset. Please help me
