Israel is carrying out a new wave of airstrikes on Lebanon on Tuesday morning, following its barrage on Monday that killed at least 492 and injured another 1,645, according to Lebanon's health ministry. It is the country's highest daily death toll since the end of its 1975-90 civil war.
How is the US responding? The Pentagon has said the US is sending a small number of additional troops to the Middle East due to the escalating tensions, but declined to give a number.
What is Pennsylvania looking like? Polls on average have given Harris a small lead over Trump. The state swung Democratic in 2020.
