How to recover the HDD space used by Mint before?

Have a 500GB SATA3 HDD, a USB external drive. Installed Cinnamon 21.3 onto this HDD a few months ago for testing. I want to use this HHD on Windows PC now as a temporary storage.

How to have the whole space of this HDD formatted, please?
