Election betting results from the prediction marketplace Polymarket show that Trump's winning odds have supposed Harris'. According to the data, the Republican presidential candidate currently boasts an approximately 51% chance of winning the upcoming election, while Kamala Harris has 48%.
Polymarket bets on Trump winning the election have moved like a roller coaster since incumbent President Joe Biden withdrew from the race. Harris was ahead of Trump for most of September. However, the coin has flipped, and the number of bets on Trump is now higher.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk shared this development on social media. He believes the Polymarket results paint a more accurate picture of Trump's support than the polls since bettors' money is involved.

Based on the national polling average data from the New York Times, Trump is behind with 47% while Harris leads with 49%.
