My family and I visited our old neighbors, the Mauzys, around the timethe original post for this comiccame out. Brett, their son, who was older than my brother and I and used to babysit us, was there with his wife and friend. When the topic of my freshly full-time career came up, Brett snickered and started talking quietly to his same-age companions. Then I heard the word "mayonnaise." Brett had been reading GWS, merging two worlds that I could have sworn would stay separate forever. (To my horror, my mom had been reading it, too.)
