Side-by-side footage of the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of Los Angeles shows the extent of the destruction caused by the Palisades wildfire. The original video shows homes and businesses in the affluent Los Angeles neighbourhood and was filmed by a couple who create travel content for social media. Reporters then retraced their steps after the wildfire destroyed large swathes of the area, showing a devastating scene of homes reduced to rubble and burnt-out cars
