Netflix definitely wanted to debut Ezra Edelmanas nine-hour-long documentary chronicling Princeas life, but that wonat be happening thanks to the late singeras estate.

Though Edelmanas untitled documentary was already completed, Netflix announced on Thursday that it has acome to a mutual agreementa with Princeas estate to keep the film from being released. As part of the agreement, the estate also now has the ability to develop a documentary of its own afeaturing exclusive content from Princeas archive.aA

Along with the announcement Princeas official X account posted a message stating aThe Vault Has Been Freeda along with the quotes: aDespite everything, no one can dictate who you are to other people,a and aThe truth is, youare either here to enlighten or discourage.a
