Biking Uphill in the Rain is the cover story for Pacific NW Magazine

Pacific NW Magazine, the glossy magazine inside the Sunday Seattle Times, includes two excerpts this week from my book Biking Uphill in the Rain: The Story of Seattle from behind the Handlebars - Out now in paperback.

Go buy a copy while they are still on newsstands. Or you can check out the piece online (part 1, part 2). Even if you've already read the book, the folks at the Times dug through their paper's photo archive to publish a bunch of excellent finds. There are even a few in there from the early 1970s Burke-Gilman Trail hike-in and rally that I had never seen before.
