Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdoan has said he does not take seriously" Donald Trump's proposal that Palestinians be forcibly expelled from Gaza.

Speaking in Malaysia, Reuters reports Erdoan, who has been a vocal critic of Israel's actions in the region, said We do not consider the proposal to exile the Palestinians from the lands they have lived in for thousands of years as something to be taken seriously. No one has the power to force the Palestinian people to experience a second Nakba."
