SPORTS BRIEFS: U11 North Stars explode on offence

Sr. B NORTH STARS SPLIT IN ENNISMORE
The Owen Sound North Stars split a two-game set on the road in Ennismore this past weekend. The Ennismore James Gang took the first game by a score of 9-5 inside the Robert E. Young Recreation Centre Friday night, led by a three-goal performance by Nick Dilauro. On Saturday, Rob Harris scored a pair of goals in the third period to help the North Stars to a 10-9 victory in the rematch. Teyatsu Yamada scored three for Owen Sound. The North Stars are 5-3-0 on the year and in third place in the six-team Ontario Series Lacrosse League.
