The Best Deals on Fitness Trackers You Can Get Before Prime Day Ends Today

On this last Prime Day (yep, it's been four days this year), let's take a look at the best deals on fitness trackers. Oura and Whoop both have significant sales going, and you can get two different Fitbit models for under $100, to name some of the highlights. The best deals on Oura ringsThe Oura Ring 4 (the newest version, launched late last year) is on sale for the first time ever this Prime Day, with all colors and sizes 15% off. Be aware that Oura requires a $5.99/month subscription to access its features, in addition to the purchase price.

Gold or rose gold Oura ring 4: $424 (normally $499)
The previous version of the ring, the gen 3, isn't on any special sale. But since the 4's release, the price of the 3 has dropped from its original $299 (and up) to $249 (and up). I'm seeing a few colors and sizes for lower prices, like this silver flat-topped Heritage model in size 9 for $218. The gen 3 is still a great ring, and you can read my comparison here about the differences between the 3 and 4.

I haven't tried the RingConn yet, but I am wearing an Ultrahuman right now (working on a future review) and it's definitely a solid alternative to Oura.

Whoop now has three tiers of membership (a change that came alongside the new 5.0/MG hardware). The lowest tier of membership is discounted right now, making it a great way to get your hands on a 5.0 and decide whether you like being a Whoop member.
Whoop operates on a model where you pay for the (rather pricey) subscription and get the hardware for free," so the way you buy the device is as a package with a one-year membership. Once that expires, you'll need to renew your subscription if you'd like to keep using it.
But the nice thing about that is that One (the budget tier) and Peak (the middle tier) use the same hardware. So you can get the deal on One, and if you like it, pay the difference to upgrade to Peak at any time.

Get Deal $169.00 at Amazon $199.00 Save $30.00 The best deals on FitbitsI spent a good while putting Fitbit's Charge 6 through its paces for my review, and ended up concluding that it's a solid performer, if a bit basic in its features compared to other fitness watches like Garmins. But plenty of people love this tracker specifically for its basic-ness: it tells the time, reads your heart rate, and stays out of your way. My colleague David Nield raved about it when spotlighting the Charge 6 deal that's currently running.
So if you'd like to get yourself a Fitbit, this is the perfect time. It's normally $159.99 but occasionally dips as low as $99.99, and that's the moment we find ourselves in today. The even-cheaper Inspire 3 is also on sale today.
Fitbit Charge 6:$99.95 today (normally $159). This is the one with its own GPS, and with Google Pay and YouTube Music.
Fitbit Inspire 3: $74.95 (normally $99.95). This is the budget tracker, without that fancy stuff, but it can still tell the time and read your heart rate just fine.

All of these watches have highly accurate GPS for tracking your distance on walks and runs, and displaying exactly how fast you're going while you do it. All of them have impressive battery life, usually well over a week depending on use.
Most of these deals are on slightly older models. The Venu 3/3S is the exception, being the current model in its line, although I've heard rumors that a 4 may be coming soon. Still, Garmins age phenomenally well, and every one of these watches is one that I'd be happy to buy new. I personally think that the Forerunner 955 and 255 are some of the best values you can find in any watch or fitness tracker at the moment.
Garmin Forerunner 955: $349.99 (originally $599.99). An incredibly feature-rich watch with maps and tons of advanced running features. It has a reflective MIP screen, which is older tech but many Garmin fans will tell you it's more practical than AMOLED. (Personally, I like both screen types.)
Garmin Forerunner 255: $199.99 (originally $349.99). This is the baby version of the 955, with the same main features but no maps and no touchscreen (you operate it with the side buttons). Look for the Music version if you want offline music storage (an extra $50) and the S" vesion for a smaller size. All are available from that same link.

Get Deal $349.99 at Amazon $499.99 Save $150.00 Garmin Forerunner 165: $231.99 (originally $249.99). Probably the most popular entry-level Garmin running watch at the moment. It's not on a great sale, but you can save a few bucks if this is the watch you really want. It has an AMOLED screen rather than the older MIP. Still, if you're asking me personally-the 255 is the better buy.
Garmin Epix Pro (gen 2) Sapphire: $609.99 (originally $1,099.99). This is a high-end watch, similar to the Fenix, and the current sale price is incredibly good.
Garmin Instinct 2X Solar: $299.99 (originally $449.99). This is another slightly older model (there is now an Instinct 3 series) but this is still an excellent price on an excellent watch. This one features solar charging, an LED flashlight, and multi-band GPS in a rugged build-great for hiking and other outdoorsy activities.
Garmin Venu 3 and 3S: $399.99 (originally $449.99). The Venu 3 is Garmin's smartwatchiest watch, with voice calling and ECG features. The 3S is the same thing but in a smaller size.
Garmin Vivoactive 5: $190.99 to $195 depending on color (originally $299). This was recently replaced by the Vivoactive 6, but both the 5 and 6 are excellent watches and probably the most underrated of Garmin's entire lineup. Unless you have your heart set on walking coaching or the possibly-nonfunctional smart alarm (I could never get it to work right), just get the Vivoactive 5.
Amazfit has been putting out budget fitness watches for a while (despite the name, they are no relation to Amazon). Their watches keep getting better and better, and my colleague Matthew Miller at ZDNet has full reviews of both the watches I'm highlighting here. Spoiler: He likes them.
Both watches really punch above their weight, with features you wouldn't get in, say, a Garmin unless you spent hundreds more.
Amazfit T-Rex 3: $199.99 (normally $279.99). One of the brand's best sports watches, this is a rugged one made for the outdoors. Read Matthew Miller's review here.
