Aaron Rodgers returns to practice with leg wrapped after getting stepped on

Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers got looked at by members of the team's training staff during Tuesday's practice, but it appears he avoided any significant injury.

Reporters at the session said that Rodgers got his right leg stepped on during a drill at Steelers camp. Rodgers appeared to have a cut on his shin and trainers took him off to the side to ice the affected area.

The trainers then wrapped Rodgers's leg and the quarterback returned to the field for the next set of drills.

Rodgers tore his left Achilles while playing his first game for the Jets in 2023 and missed the rest of the season. He dealt with a number of injuries last year, but started every game in his final season with the Jets. Tuesday's issue doesn't look like one that will affect his availability for the Steelers, so he's still on track to be in the lineup against his former team in Week 1.
