'Like a permanent barrier': Ontario needs to change hiring rules for people with criminal records, report says

More than one million people in Ontario have a criminal record. For many, the record causes barriers when it comes to finding meaningful work. An organization known for advocating for the betterment of those who've been previously incarcerated or have a record, has put forward new recommendations that could help ease their transition into the workforce.
