Joe Burrow reportedly needs toe surgery, will miss at least three months due to injury
The Cincinnati Bengals will be without quarterback Joe Burrow for the majority of the 2025 NFL season. Burrow will reportedly undergo surgery on his toe and miss at least three months of action due to the injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Burrow had to leave the team's Week 2 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to the issue. Following the contest, which the Bengals won, it was reported Burrow could need surgery to repair his toe, but would seek a second opinion.

It's tough to overstate Burrow's importance to the Bengals. When healthy, he's one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Last season, Burrow led all passers with 4,918 yards and 43 passing touchdowns.
Jake Browning will take over as the Bengals' starter with Burrow sidelined.
