Giants lose Xavier Gipson on waivers to Eagles, part ways with Tomon Fox
The Giants have lost WR/KR Xavier Gipson on waivers to the Eagles.
Gipson had a very short stint with Big Blue after being let go from the Jets following his costly fumble on a kickoff return in a Week 1 loss to the Steelers.
He served as a healthy scratch in Week 2, then was cut to make room on the roster this week.
The 24-year-old now remains in the NFC East with his third different team this season.
Additionally, the Giants have placed OLB Tomon Fox on waivers.
Fox was added to the active roster in place of Gipson, and he logged 33 snaps on Sunday night.
The undrafted free agent out of UNC has bounced on and off New York's practice squad the past two seasons, so it would be a shock to see him back there is he is able to clear waivers.
