Packers HC Matt LaFleur is focused on his team going 1-0 each week and nothing beyond that, despite one of his players looking ahead
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur spoke with media following Sunday's 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns and seemingly called out one of his players without naming the guilty party.
LaFleur was not happy with Sunday's effort and said he does not like it when guys talk about anything beyond the next game.

"The goal is to go 1-0 every week. LaFleur told reporters. "It pisses me off when we start talking about things outside of the next game. Things that are way down the road. Focus on the present, on the now and worry about getting better each and every day."
LaFleur's words hit home, especially since it was less than a week ago that one of his players spoke publicly about the team going undefeated. Fourth-year left tackle Rasheed Walker flat-out said he thought the Packers could go undefeated last Wednesday during post-practice media availability.
"I think we can go undefeated, honestly," Walker said. "I mean, personally, I always tell people that we could have gone undefeated the past two seasons. We lost a lot of the games off a couple plays, but I feel like our offense has been playing so good and so disciplined, and our defense is playing even better."
Walker is a former 2022 seventh-round pick who has worked his way up to the starting left tackle position in Green Bay. He's watching the franchise quarterback's blindside but clearly went too far for his coach's liking by speaking publicly about the team going through the season undefeated.
Sunday was Green Bay's first loss of 2025 after starting 2-0. The Packers travel to Dallas next for a Week 4 matchup with the Cowboys. Green Bay has won the last five meetings in this series, including two playoff victories. The Cowboys have not beaten the Packers since Week 6 of the 2016 season. That was Dak Prescott's rookie year in the NFL.
This will be pass rusher Micah Parsons' first meeting with his former team since being traded to Green Bay from Dallas last month. All the headlines will focus on Parsons, Jerry Jones and revenge on the Cowboys, but LaFleur will have his guys focused on going 1-0 in Week 4.
