In Week 4, all eyes will be on the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys, who will face off just one month after the Cowboys sent star edge rusher Micah Parsons to the Packers.

Dallas owner Jerry Jones, who was the driving force behind both the trade and the months of tension leading up to it, may have raised some eyebrows by sending away his star defender, but Jones is not worried about facing Parsons on Sunday. In a radio interview on Friday with 105.3 The FAN, Jones said that he believes that the Cowboys can shut down Parsons through reverse engineering from his time in Dallas.

"Now let's make no mistake about it: Micah is special, and we all know he is, and he can be disruptive," Jones said. "But we have huge amounts of experience with the anecdotes that we've seen used on us for the last four years. And while he does make great plays, there is also a way to approach playing against Micah. As we know, we didn't exactly win the Super Bowl those years.

"The bottom line is, when I look at playing him, I think of trying to have him as an advantage when we were playing other teams over the last four years," Jones continued. "Some plays, it looks beautiful. But then other plays, especially running plays, you can wish you'd had a different formation."

When asked on Friday if this game offered a sense of closure, Jones was blunt.

"Candidly, if closure were an issue, I should've had that discussion with the mirror before I made the trade or as I was making the trade," Jones said. "That's when all the drama was gone, is when you decided to make the trade. Of course, I was very aware that this game would be coming up ... I knew that we were going to be competing against him pretty quick."

It's been a month since Parsons was dealt to the Packers, in a move that many attributed to Jones' ego in his refusal to give in to Parsons' contract demands. The four-time Pro Bowler reportedly signed a four-year, $188 million deal with the Packers after joining the team, including $136 million guaranteed - money that Jones was not willing to give him. (Dallas received two first-round draft picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark in return for the trade.)

But now, Parsons will be returning to Dallas just four weeks into the season, facing off against his old team in prime time.
