The Giantswill have a new kicker suit up for them on Sunday when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers.

New York ruled out veteran Graham Gano with a groin injury on Friday and is expected to promote Younghoe Koo from the practice squad to take his place for the Week 4 contest.

The 38-year-old Gano suffered the groin injury during pregame warmups in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs, forcing the team to turn to punter Jamie Gillan as the emergency kicker for three quarters.

Gano returned to the field in the fourth quarter to kick a 25-yard field goal, cutting the Giants' deficit to 16-9.

Koo, 31, was released by the Atlanta Falcons last week after seven seasons with the team. He was benched for their Week 2 game after missing a game-tying 43-yard FG in their 23-20 Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 2020 Pro Bowler went 178-for-205 (86.8 percent) on field goals and 166-for-173 (96 percent) on extra-point attempts over 89 games with the Falcons.

He struggled a bit during the 2024 season, missing nine field goals at a 73.5 percent rate, but made all 26 extra-point attempts over 14 games. Koo also nailed a career-long 58-yard FG as time expired to beat the New Orleans Saints in Week 4. His previous career-long make was 54 yards.

Sunday's matchup will be a bit of a full-circle moment for Koo, as he played his first four games in the NFL with the Chargers in 2017.

The Giants also ruled out RB Tyrone Tracy (shoulder), DL Chauncey Golston (ankle), and listed DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches (foot) as doubtful. WR Malik Nabers (shoulder) and TE Theo Johnson (toe) were limited participants in Friday's practice, but are good to go for Sunday.
