Man who killed 3 Six Nations residents died in prison

Nicholas Shipman, 43, died at Millhaven Institution's Regional Treatment Centre, Correctional Service Canada said in an Oct. 2 news release. In 2021, Shipman pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2018 killing of three Six Nations residents: Michael Jamieson, Melissa Miller and Alan Porter.
