Giants rule out defensive backs Jevon Holland and Paulson Adebo vs. Eagles
The Giants will be down two key pieces in the secondary when they take the field Sunday in Philadelphia.
Safety Jevon Holland has been downgraded to out and will not travel with the team to face the Eagles, the team announced on Saturday. The Giants were already set to be without cornerback Paulson Adebo (and defensive lineman Chauncey Golston), who was ruled out on Friday.
Adebo and Holland were both dealing with knee injuries sustained during last week's crushing loss to the Denver Broncos, and they've been trending towards being sidelined for the meeting with the division rivals.
That's certainly a big loss for New York's secondary, which struggled after losing them last week. On the other side of the coin, Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
