Colts-Falcons in Berlin becomes top-five ranked international game on record for NFL Network

The Week 10 overtime thriller between the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany, drew an average of 6 million viewers (TV & Digital), making it one of the top-five International Games on record for NFL Network.

Those 6 million viewers who watched Indianapolis and Atlanta also made it the second most-watched international game from Germany on the NFL Network. This game increased by 37% compared to last season's Week 10 game between the Carolina Panthers and New York Giants. It was also up 27% from the 2024 international game average on NFL Network.

Sunday's Colts-Falcons game featured a huge performance from Indianapolis running back Jonathan Taylor. The two-time Pro Bowl back rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns against the Falcons. This ranks as Taylor's second-highest single-game rushing total behind his 253-yard performance during the season finale of his rookie year in 2020.

In addition, the Falcons-Colts game peaked in the final 20 minutes with an average of 9 million viewers.

These record-breaking numbers only fuel the NFL's intention to continue growing the game outside of U.S. borders. All these international games are packed, and fans at home watch in mass according to data, no matter what time those games are broadcast here in the States. Expect the number of international games to continue to increase moving forward.

In Week 11, the leagues international series concludes for 2025, with an NFL Network game between two 3-7 teams when the Washington Commanders take on the Miami Dolphins from Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, Spain on Sunday Nov. 16 at 9:30 a.m. ET.
