Which lunchtime foods pair best with which type of bicycle? You may never have considered this question before, but that tells me that you need to buy a copy of The Culinary Cyclist by Anna Brones and Johanna Kindvall.

This little 2015 cookbook from Elly Blue Publishing is a lovely way to daydream about picnics by bicycle or come up with the perfect craft cocktail for your flask.

The rules for living well, if you can call them that, are simple and a pleasure to follow. Eat local and mostly plants. Ride your bike, even on rainy days. Say yes to dinner invitations. Always bring your signature dessert. Invite people on picnics. Bike in the sunshine. Follow a morning ride with a strong French press." - An excerpt from the introduction.

We only have a few copies available on the Seattle Bike Blog Shop.

Speaking of the shop, we also just got a big restock of my book Biking Uphill in the Rain in both paperback and hardcover. We also still have a few remaining copies of Bicycle/Race by Dr Adonia Lugo. The post office suggests December 17 as the latest day to send something by mail for delivery by December 25. We also offer free local pickup at our U District/Wallingford headquarters.
