Niagara police see 700% spike in number of human trafficking victims identified in a single year

Police shared data at a recent information session hosted by Niagara Regional Police Service's human trafficking unit. It was the first session of its kind for the unit, which began in 2019, and was held after community members asked police for more information about how trafficking happens in the region.
