Giants enter 2026 NFL Draft with No. 5 pick
As Week 18 winds down, theGiantsare locked into the 2026NFL Draft's No. 5 overall pick.
New York (4-13) clinched its spot with Sunday's 34-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys in the team's 2025 season finale.
The Giants are the only franchise with a 4-13 record. Four teams -- theLas Vegas Raiders, Jets, Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans -- are 3-14 but separated in order by strength of schedule.
The Raiders are set to pick first despite a 14-12 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Jets entered the No. 2 spot after a 35-8 loss at the Buffalo Bills and Big Blue's second straight victory.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals (37-20 at Los Angeles Rams) and Titans (41-7 at Jacksonville Jaguars) suffered blowout losses while securing the Nos. 3 and 4 picks.
Had the Giants lost to Dallas on Sunday or been defeated by the Raiders in Week 17 -- New York beat Las Vegas, 34-10, last Sunday -- Big Blue would have gotten the No. 1 pick.
The next question for the Giants, as SNY's Connor Hughes wrote after New York beat the Cowboys, is how the franchise builds around rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.
