The Houston Texans aren't just battling the New England Patriots. They are also battling the injury bug.

Houston is already without Nico Collins and Trent Brown for its divisional round clash in New England. Now the Texans just lost Dalton Schultz as well.

The tight end injured his calf in the first quarter and has been taken back to the locker room. His return is questionable. If Schultz is unable to return, it would be a big hit to a group of pass-catchers that is already playing without a key piece on Sunday.

Here's the latest on Schultz.

Dalton Schultz injury update

Schultz has been officially ruled out with a calf injury.

He was initially listed as questionable to return.

The tight end appeared to suffer the injury in the end zone on the Texans' second drive. He was evaluated in the medical tent and later walked back to the locker room under his own power.

Houston is operating with a group of pass-catchers that includes plenty of untested playoff performers. If he is unable to continue, then second-year tight end Cade Stover figures to step in as TE1.
