One thing the Cincinnati Bengals need to do in this upcoming NFL Draft is build depth. That's where Day 3 of the Draft comes into play, and it's where the Bengals can build a stronger roster to get back to Super Bowl contention.

A player to watch for in the very late rounds, who impressed at the East-West Shrine Bowl in Mobile, Alabama this week, is Navy defensive tackle Landon Robinson. Robinson is a beast, and he has the accolades to show for it. In 2025, the Fairlawn, Ohio, and Copley High School graduate was the American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-American.

Robinson racked up 64 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks in 2025. While he is less than six feet tall and less than 300 pounds, Robinson has the explosiveness that could make him an intriguing late-round option or undrafted free agent.

Biggest defensive standouts from East-West Shrine Bowl practice this week:

Landon Robinson, Navy
Avery Smith, Toledo
Devon Marshall, NC St
James Thompson, Illinois
Mason Reiger, Wisconsin
Kaleb Proctor, SLU
Cole Wisniewski, Texas Tech
Ceyair Wright, Nebraska
Tyler Onyedim, TAMU

A key thing to note is that Robinson does not have an invite to the Combine. That could cause him to not be on some radars going into the NFL Draft.

If teams need proof, though, of how good Robinson is in the middle of the field, look no further than the fact that he has been on The Athletic's Bruce Feldman's annual Freaks List" going into each of the last three college football seasons.

Navy DT Landon Robinson has met with all 32 teams at the Shrine Bowl, having formal visits with
Robinson has had formal meetings with 17 total teams:

Robinson checked in at No. 13 this past season. Here is part of what Feldman had to say about him going into this season:

This offseason, he bench pressed 465 pounds (up from 450), squatted 665 (up 15 pounds) and power cleaned 350. He vertical jumps 33 inches and hit 20.13 mph on the GPS.

The Bengals need violence in the middle of their defensive line. Robinson could, at the very least, provide depth at the position.
