Broncos fans overwhelmingly want the Seahawks to beat Patriots in Super Bowl 60
Super Bowl LX kicks off tonight with the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots facing off for the Lombardi Trophy.
If you ask most Broncos fans, and even players, they would admit that the Broncos should be in this game. Quarterback Bo Nix broke his ankle in the final plays of their comeback win vs. the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round. That meant backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham would get the start in the AFC Championship Game against the Patriots. Unfortunately, the Broncos would lose 10-7, bringing their magical season to an end.
The what ifs" still linger, and most Broncos fans are not fond of the Patriots or their fan base. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are not a team many Broncos fans like either. They are a former divisional rival who beat them in the Super Bowl, the whole Russell Wilson trade, and just natural hate on both sides.
However, the hate for the Patriots runs deep, and that is why 93% of the Broncos fans are rooting for the Seahawks to defeat the Patriots tonight.
According to FanDuel, the Seahawks are 4.5-point favorites over the Patriots in Super Bowl 60.
It's not just Broncos fans who think the Seahawks will win; the Seahawks are 4.5-point favorites to win the Super Bowl. This makes sense as the Seahawks have looked like the best team in the NFL this season while dominating their competition throughout the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Patriots had a soft schedule and faced a favorable postseason that featured playoff Justin Herbert, CJ Stroud having a meltdown, and the Broncos playing their backup quarterback.
82% of fans believe the Seahawks will win Super Bowl 60 tonight, and I am part of that group. They are simply the better team that has a deeper roster, an explosive offense, and a dominant defense. Unlike the Patriots' previous games, the Seahawks are not a favorable matchup, and I think they will dominate tonight's game
Now, I ask you, Broncos Country? Who do you have winning Super Bowl 60? Sam Darnold and the dominant Seahawks defense, or MVP runner-up Drake Maye and the overlooked New England Patriots?
