In 2012, Quebec students wore a red square pin while protesting tuition hikes by the provincial government, ultimately overturning the changes. Now, students in Ontario are adopting the symbol in the hopes of repeating history and overturning Premier Doug Ford's changes to the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).
