Report: DJ Moore traded to Buffalo Bills

After weeks of speculation and talk, wide receiver DJ Moore will be traded to the Buffalo Bills when the new league year starts next week.

Compensation is yet to be finalized, according to Adam Schefter, who was the first to report the deal.

Moore spent the last three seasons with the Chicago Bears, originally coming over in the trade with the Carolina Panthers that ultimately led to the Caleb Williams pick.

Questions about Moore's fit began after the 2024 season when his chemistry never seemed to meet with Caleb Williams. Those questions only grew louder in 2025 when it still seemed he just wasn't gelling with Williams in Ben Johnson's offense.

The move frees up cap space should the Bears want to make another move.

Moore caught 50 passes for 682 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2025. He finishes his time in Chicago with 244 catches for 3,012 yards and 20 touchdowns. His final season in Chicago was his first winning season since high school. And he showed up in the playoffs with 11 catches for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns.

DJ will live on in Bears history for his iconic catches against the Green Bay Packers, including the game-winner in overtime in week 16 and the winning score in the Wild Card round.

And his post-game quote, It's F the Packers, always," will be ingrained in fans for decades.

I know I speak for a number of Bears fans when I say good luck in Buffalo and I hope DJ wins a lot of games, just not against Chicago.
