Logan Wilson is officially hanging em up. The Cowboy", as he was known throughout his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, announced on Instagram on Wednesday that he is retiring from the NFL.

It is always somber to see NFL players retire as they are such a big part of our fandom. We are certainly wishing Wilson and his family all the best in whatever comes next for them.

The Cowboys traded for Wilson at the NFL's trade deadline this past year, but almost all of his career was spent with Cincinnati so that is who he mostly thanked.

Another former Cowboy also retired on the same day

Interestingly, Wilson wasn't the only NFL player who spent brief time with the Cowboys who announced his retirement on Wednesday.

T.Y. Hilton has also retired from the NFL.

Hilton spent part of the 2022 season with the Cowboys. You may not remember all of his plays, but you definitely remember his 3rd-and-30 conversion on Christmas Eve against the Philadelphia Eagles. That will always stick out.

All the best to Logan Wilson and T.Y. Hilton in their next journeys.
