It is Thursday, March 19, which means that the first, frenzied week of free agency in the book, and the 2026 NFL Draft is set for five weeks from today.

When the draft arrives, it will usher in an evening of waiting for fans of the Seattle Seahawks, as the Hawks are currently not slated to pick until the absolute end of the first round, thanks to having walloped the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX 29-13, giving Seattle its second Lombardi Trophy.

In the meantime, teams will continue to sift through the remaining unsigned free agents looking to build a roster capable of challenging the defending world champion Seahawks, while John Schneider and Mike Macdonald work to build the roster that will take to the field in defense of their title as Super Bowl champions.

To that end, the Seahawks added former first round pick Noah Igbinoghene, formerly of the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders to a one-year contract to compete in the secondary. Now, thanks to OverTheCap.com, the details of Igbinoghene's contract are known.

  • Per game roster bonuses: $340k

Those pieces combine for a cap hit totaling $1.77M for the 26 year old Igbinoghene, who will compete in the secondary while also providing a potential alternative to Rashid Shaheed as a kick returner.
