The Las Vegas Raiders are at Indiana's pro day to watch the future number one pick, Fernando Mendoza. John Spytek and the front office will get their chance to have a look at the Raiders' franchise quarterback and other talent at Indiana.

Running back is a position they focused on last year by drafting Ashton Jeanty in 2025. Right now, Jeanty doesn't have a true backup on the roster. Indiana has two backs who could be drafted: Kaelon Black and Roman Hemby. Raiders have met with Black on a top 30 visit and could look to the draft to add a running back to complement Jeanty.

In this week's SB Nation Reacts, we ask Raider Nation if they think the Raiders should draft a running back. Raider Nation is prepared for the team to add a running back, with 74% of fans believing the team will draft a backup to Jeanty.

The 2026 NFL draft has depth at running back but not much star power. There are players who fit the Kubiak system, such as J'Mari Taylor and Jonah Coleman, who could make great backfields teamed with Jeanty. Whoever they pick, expect them to contribute this season.
