Troy Aikman will continue to consult for Dolphins – The Splash Zone 4/7/26

The Miami Dolphins entered the offseason in search of a new general manager and decided they were going to need a new head coach after the season was over. Stephen Ross decided to reach out to Troy Aikman to help consult on the Dolphins new regime search. It raised some questions as Aikman had no front office experience but is a color commentator and has plenty of insight around the league. Aikman played a pivotal role in the hirings of Jon-Eric Sullivan and Jeff Hafley. Heading forward, Aikman will be at the Dolphins facility during the NFL Draft in two weeks and will have some sort of role heading forward that hasn't been defined yet.
