NFL Draft Profile: Jude Bowry
Before we get underway, this will be prefaced by saying that this is a down year for the NFL Draft. There aren't many blue chip players that many expect to see on these draft boards. Most of these teams won't be finding their next franchise cornerstones - let's wait on that for next year's projected generational NFL Draft. That's not to say the talent available is bad, because some of these future rookies are ready to be difference makers for NFL teams. For Boston College, one draft prospect that comes to mind includes OT Jude Bowry.
Year: Redshirt Junior
Position(s): Left Tackle
Measurables: 6'5" 311 lbs,
2026 NFL Combine Measurements: 33 3/4" inch arms, 5.08 40 yard dash, 10 3/4" inch Hands
Draft Projection: Round 3/Round 4
Named as captain for the 2025 season, Bowry started nine games at left tackle for the Eagles in 2025. He's known for being a steady blocker who possesses a high ceiling if playing at a consistent rate. He has solid size as a tackle and uses his physical frame to his advantage. His strong footwork allows him to be flexible at either side of the line. Draft experts describe Bowry as someone who tends to be in the right place at the right time, something NFL squads are always looking for.Not to mention his greatest quality as a BC Eagle was his leadership.
Something that Bowry must work on is making up for his lack of power at the NFL level. At the college level he struggled at times against outside power rushers, which he has the potential to beat, but it all depends on how he polishes that part of his game. However, his raw athletic potential is something teams will not pass on, especially where in today's league, capable offensive tackles are hard to find. Bowry's skillset can definitely translate at a professional level as long as he stays consistent. He's expected to be drafted either as a late Day 2 pick or early/mid day 3 pick.Good luck to Jude!
