Former Steelers QB signs with Ravens
Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson is signing with the Baltimore Ravens, per Ian Rapoport.
Thompson signed with the Steelers in January, 2025 on a futures contract. He had a tremendous showing in the preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars going 20-of-28 for 233 yards and three touchdowns.
Prior to joining the Steelers, Thompson was a seventh-round pick of the Miami Dolphins out of Kansas State in the 2022 NFL Draft. He appeared in 11 games with the Dolphins, including a playoff start in relief of Tua Tagovailoa against the Buffalo Bills. For his career, Thompson has one touchdown pass to three interceptions and 721 yards.
