Tracking the Cowboys schedule release rumors

The NFL has one last event to do this offseason before training camps come around. That is to release the 2026 NFL schedule. They will do that on Thursday, May 14th.

We already know who are opponents will be based on the regular rotation formula the NFL has employed for a while. This year the Cowboys will play their NFC East opponents twice, the AFC South once, the NFC West once, and have single games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Baltimore Ravens and the Green Bay Packers. You can see the home and away split below.

Having to play the NFC West is a tough ask this year. The World Champion Seattle Seahawks, and two teams that are expected to be strong contenders in the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, are on the schedule.

Dallas Cowboys Schedule Rumors

• The Cowboys will open the season on the road on Sunday night at the N.Y. Giants.
• Dallas will host' the Ravens in Brazil for Week 3.
• The Cowboys are rumored to be hosting the Eagles on Thanksgiving Day.
• It was confirmed that Dallas is hosting Philadelphia on Thanksgiving Day.
• The Cowboys will reportedly host the Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football in Week 5. This is two weeks after the Brazil game, by the way.
• Dallas is rumored to be visiting Philadelphia on Monday Night Football in Week 7.
• The Cowboys are rumored to be hosting the Jaguars on Sunday Night Football in Week 16, two days after Christmas.
• The leaked Giants schedule has Dallas hosting New York in Week 17.
• Dallas is rumored to be hosting Washington in the final week of the regular season.
• The Cowboys may be hosting the 49ers in Week 10.
