Browns vs Saints in Paris in 2026? Report cast light on the likely matchup in France
In many ways, the 2026 NFL schedule reveal for the Cleveland Browns is likely to be anticlimactic. The road schedule has one interesting game besides the yearly AFC North matchups, and the home schedule isn't significantly better with the return of former Browns HC Kevin Stefanski topping the list.
Teams can only play the schedule that is ahead of them, but that doesn't stop us from wishing for the schedule to have some interesting components to it. One that seemed locked in late last year was Cleveland traveling to Paris, France, to face the New Orleans Saints. There have been some doubts about that possibility as the schedule gets closer to being unveiled.
Now we have a report from one of the main schedule leakers that the Pittsburgh Steelers are the ones who will face the Saints:

The Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints will face off in the inaugural NFL Paris Game at the Stade de France, per sources.

With so many questions around the Browns quarterback position, it makes sense not to place them in the first game ever in France. On the other hand, the Steelers still don't know if Aaron Rodgers will sign to play for them this year, but they do have a longer history of winning games, even if Cleveland has won a playoff game more recently.
Are you glad the Browns are not playing in Paris (and likely having no international games) this year or were you hoping to make the trip overseas?
