The NFL will officially announce the 2026 NFL regular season schedule at 8:00 PM ET on Thursday, May 14. Leading up to that, we will use this as a schedule tracking post for any rumors and leaks that come out ahead of time for your Cleveland Browns.

2026 Browns Schedule TrackerThursday

7:15 PM: I'm told the Browns social media release will have a Street Fighter theme. That could be video game-related or based on the new movie:

5:54 PM: Per the NFL, teams' social feeds will begin publishing the now-standard social media videos of their schedule at 7:30 PM today.

NFL clubs may begin posting social videos of their schedule at 7:30p ET with the full schedule announced at 8p ET. No, I haven't seen any of the videos. pic.twitter.com/fTZMe1bmwt

5:50 PM: Per Ozzy Grid, which seems accurate all the time these days, the Browns' entire schedule is now known:

Week 1: Browns @ Jaguars
Week 2: Browns @ Buccaneers
Week 3: Panthers @ Browns
Week 4: Steelers @ Browns (Thursday Night Football)
Week 5: Browns @ Jets
Week 6: Ravens @ Browns
Week 7: Browns @ Titans
Week 8: Browns @ Steelers
Week 9: Browns @ Saints
Week 10: Texans @ Browns
Week 11: BYE
Week 12: Raiders @ Browns
Week 13: Bengals @ Browns
Week 14: Falcons @ Browns
Week 15: Browns @ Giants
Week 16: Browns @ Ravens
Week 17: Colts @ Browns
Week 18: Browns @ Bengals

5:40 PM: Well, it appears that the Browns' entire schedule has now leaked out. But first, let's specifically highlight the fact that Cleveland does get a prime time game this year: in Week 4 at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers:

The #Steelers will visit the #Browns on Thursday Night Football in a matchup that TNF absolutely loves for some reason.

That makes four prime time and seven standalone games for the Steelers in 2026 so far.https://t.co/mhELFDtoFx

4:30 PM: First home game news:

Schedule leak: Panthers at Browns in Week 3, per league source.

2:36 PM: It sounds like the Browns will be squaring off against the Bengals in Week 18, we're just not sure yet if it's at home or on the road. Everything is heavy on the road thus far, but based on the below, you can take a guess that Weeks 3-4, and Weeks 6-7, will probably be home games, barring a bye thrown in there.

Week 1: Browns @ Jaguars
Week 2: Browns @ Buccaneers
Week 5: Browns @ Jets
Week 8: Browns @ Steelers
Week 15: Browns @ Giants
Week 18: Browns vs. Bengals

2:01 PM: The Baker Mayfield game:

1:05 PM: How important is rest between games?

let's talk about NET REST

teams with > +7 days net rest edge in 2025:

SEA: 14 wins
LAR: 12 wins
SF: 12 wins
DET: 9 wins
MIA: 7 wins

teams with < -7 days net rest edge in 2025:

LV: 3 wins
WAS: 5 wins
NO: 6 wins

who will benefit in 2026?

12:24 PM: How many miles will the Browns travel compared to the other 31 teams in the NFL this year? The Browns rank 31st at 9,073 miles. Last year, the Browns ranked 25th at 15,028 miles, with part of that pumped up due to the international game. So it's really low this year, which I assume would lead to some degree of positive correlation.

12:15 PM: After missing out on prime time games a season ago, it'll be interesting to see if the league schedules any for Cleveland this year, especially since they don't have an international game. Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh are already confirmed for several prime time games, but nothing for Cleveland yet.

12:09 PM: As the day goes on, you can do some process of elimination when it comes to some potential opponents. The Bengals will host the Ravens in an AFC North Battle on New Year's Eve for Thursday Night Football. Could that mean that Cleveland then gets the Steelers in Week 17, and either the Bengals or Ravens in Week 18?

Sources: The #Bengals will host the #Ravens on Thursday Night Football in Week 17 on New Year's Eve.

12:06 PM: The NFL got serious with its Thanksgiving slate of NFL games this year - holy cow, are these some high stakes, playoff caliber matchups all loaded into the holiday. Additionally, there is a Thanksgiving Eve game this year on a Wednesday. Cleveland is not involved in any of them, obviously.

say goodbye to your family before Thanksgiving

the most deadly serious Thanksgiving slate I've ever seen this is ridiculous

12:02 PM: To keep track of things, here's what we have so far for the Browns, which are all road games:

Week 1: Browns @ Jaguars
Week 5: Browns @ Jets
Week 8: Browns @ Steelers
Week 15: Browns @ Giants

8:30 AM: The first AFC North game reported, right after Halloween and right before the NFL trade deadline, and PAYBACK with the matchup coming right after the Steelers get back from their international trip:

8:28 AM: I have been told twice that the Browns are starting the season against the Ravens. Neither from a team or NFL source worthy of a full write-up or report.

7:00 AM: Good morning, Browns fans! We're kicking off the schedule tracker a day early this year. The rumors and leaks will certainly be more rampant on Thursday, but we'll still track down any nuggets related to the Browns' schedule, starting with this one: Cleveland has the lowest strength of schedule for the upcoming season (which theoretically means they have the easiest set of opponents):

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Browns have +125 odds to win 7 games or more in 2026, and have +1600 odds of winning the AFC North.
