Odell Beckham Jr. never wanted to leave" the Giants - and he might be back soon.

Big Blue had Beckham in for a workout April 20, and while that didn't result in him getting signed, the door has been cracked open for a potential return to New York.

After receiver and kick returner Gunner Olszewski sustained a torn right Achilles tendon Friday, Beckham appeared at Brian Burns' charity softball game over the weekend and indicated that he's itching for a Giants reunion.

It's a place I never wanted to leave," he told The Post's Brandon London. And it's just a special place in my heart, just to see all of these Big Blue jerseys - just hoping for the best."

Beckham, who was out of the NFL last season after being handed a six-game suspension for PEDs, also added: Just being able to spend that time away, just made me realize some things - I left some things unfinished."

When asked about his ability to still contribute, he said: I guess we gon' find out soon."

Beckham, 33, spent the 2023 season in Baltimore with new Giants coach John Harbaugh, who has called the three-time Pro Bowler one of my very favorite people in the world."

However, Beckham has struggled with injuries in recent seasons and has topped 550 receiving yards in just one season (with the Ravens) since 2020.

It appeared that the Giants' interest in him had cooled after his workout didn't lead to him being signed.

However, Olszewski's injury, along with Malik Nabers' ACL recovery and Darius Slayton's sports hernia surgery, means the Giants are planning to add another receiver, according to The Post's Paul Schwartz.

The Post reported that Beckham is expected to be part of a group of receivers working out Monday, and that his chances of signing with Big Blue could now be as high as 50-50.

Beckham electrified MetLife Stadium from 2014-18 after the Giants selected him with the No. 12 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

However, he was traded to Cleveland before the 2019 season and has struggled to reach the same heights since.
