Good morning, New York Giants fans!

From Big Blue ViewOther Giant observationsTouchdowns & takeaways from OTA No. 7 | Giants.com

Art Green and Nic Jones, two cornerbacks who each played double-digit games for the Giants last season, teamed up for the first of two interceptions on the day. Green took advantage of a pressure by Jones (who may have had a sack in a live setting) and intercepted a pass in the first 11-on-11 portion of practice. Rookie cornerback Colton Hood has now made a nice play in back-to-back practices. On Friday, he broke up a pass during a red-zone drill. On Monday, he snagged an interception with his momentum going the other way for what would have been a pick-six.

Jaxson Dart opened practice with a scramble to buy time and find Isaiah Likely. Fellow tight end Theo Johnson followed it with a long catch-and-run. Dart and rookie wide receiver Malachi Fields connected a few times for big gains, including a nice play on the sideline.

Which buzzy NFL teams should you believe in for 2026?| NFL.com

Eric Edholm's pick: New York Giants: The Giants have a challenging schedule with some really tough road tests, but I think this outfit is far better than the four-win team Big Blue fielded in 2025.Jaxson Dartand an emerging offense could be above average, especially ifMalik Nabersis ready to go. The Giants' defense, even withoutDexter Lawrence, has a strong lot of talent. John Harbaugh appears reenergized, and I expect him to make the G-Men playoff contenders in Year 1.

Giants' Colton Hood on NFL transition: Have to be more mentally sound | USAToday.com

Hood was recently asked what he felt would be the biggest transition from the college level to the pro level for him.

I think the more mental part of the game. Just, you know, making sure I'm in my playbook, knowing what I need to do, when I need to do it, and then kind of like just watching film and knowing what I got, what the guys around me have. But I think that'll make me better at my job, so definitely those two things," he said.

NFL Draft Grades 2026: Grading All 32 Teams After the Draft | Sharp Football Analysis

New York Giants Draft Grade: B+. Instant impact:Francis Mauigoa, OL; Best value: Jack Kelly, LB; Riskiest pick: Arvell Reese, EDGE/LB. The success of this draft hinges on the development of Reese, a one-year starter who will likely be learning a new hybrid role in New York. He has an elite ceiling, but an inexperienced player learning a new position in the pros is inherently a bust risk.

Every NFL Team's Biggest Position Battle and Top Potential Breakout Players | Bleacher Report

Top Breakout Candidates:QB Jaxson Dart, Edge Abdul Carter If the Giants do have a capable receiving corps, they should expect Dart to make a second-year jump. Of course, he'll have to stay healthy throughout the season for it to actually happen. Dart showed a high ceiling as a rookie (91.7 passer rating), but he also showcased a risky play style that led to missed time due to a concussion. One of Harbaugh's first tasks should involve convincing Dart to play smarter.

New York's other 2025 first-round pick, Abdul Carter, should also see a jump. He had just four sacks as a rookie but recorded an impressive34quarterback pressures. With an improved roster and improved coaching, Carter should finish more frequently as a pass-rusher.

Ahmad Bradshaw captures a surprising backfield nod:In a tightly contested committee debate, Bradshaw narrowly edged outSaquon Barkleyfor the starting running back spot due to his superior pass-blocking marks and high rate of converting carries into first downs or scores.

Landon Collins outpaces Xavier McKinney at safety:Despite McKinney displaying more refined traits on coverage snaps, Landon Collins secured the starting safety role due to his elite utility as a run-stopping box defender and an extra 900 career snaps in a Giants uniform.
