Chloe Kim 'giggling' at rumors she orchestrated Rams' Myles Garrett trade
Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim has made it clear that she had nothing to do with her boyfriend, Myles Garrett, being traded to the Los Angeles Rams.
Kim, a Los Angeles native, addressed social media speculation that she had played a role in the trade in a TikTok posted on June 3.
"I've been giggling at these rumors the last couple of days because you guys are giving me TOO MUCH CREDIT," Kim captioned the post, with a "loudly crying emoji" following her first sentence. "I found out right before it was publicized and was planning to show up and support him wherever he ended up."
Conjecture that Kim had been involved in the Garrett trade ran rampant on social media shortly after the trade occurred.
Several fans joked and openly wondered whether the 26-year-old snowboarder - who has been dating Garrett since 2025 - had played any role in orchestrating the blockbuster trade.
The theories were founded on some logic. Garrett is a rare NFL player who has a no-trade clause in his contract, so the two-time Defensive Player of the Year had some control over where he would land in any potential trade.
But Kim's recent TikTok will pour cold water on the idea that she played a major role in the trade that brought Garrett to Los Angeles while sending Jared Verse and three draft picks to the Cleveland Browns.

Neither Kim nor Garrett had addressed the rumors until the former's social media post. And while she denied any involvement in the trade, the 26-year-old acknowledged she is excited Garrett will be moving to Los Angeles and playing for the Rams.
"I genuinely can't believe this is happening and am so excited to show him around my city," Kim wrote in the video caption. "Go Rams!"
