We have a Sunday edition of Random Ramsdom today featuring Kam Curl and his big ideas for the Los Angeles Rams and their defense in 2026. Now, Kurl knows it's only June, so I think he wants to be careful promising anything too early, but he's excited to see what this defense can. He has high hopes. Nothing wrong with that.

It does appear that as long as this defense stays healthy, it should be a sound unit. But even the best defenses in the history of the league lost games, so no easy rides in the NFL, no shortcuts, the Rams gotta go out and earn it.

We'll see what happens as the season gets closer and closer.

Thank you all for checking out Turf Show Times, please comment on whatever you want and happy Sunday! Enjoy it.

Kam Curl says Rams defense has a chance to be legendary' (sports.yahoo)

"Right now it's early. It's only what, June? But I feel like we've got a chance to be legendary," Curl said. Just the type of guys we got, the coaches we got, we've got a bunch of experience back there. We've got some Super Bowl winners in there, we've got some Defensive Player of the Years. We've got some guys that, if we do what we've got to do, we can be one of the best."

It'd Be Really Scary' - Rams Legend Makes Feelings Clear On Aaron Donald's Comeback Rumors (profootballnetwork)

It'd be scary, I can tell you that. Aaron Donald is one of one, not just as a football player, but as a human,Whitworth said. He is one of the rarest work ethic people that I've ever seen. I've just never seen many people with the talent that he has and the work ethic that's even greater. It's crazy.

The human being he is and the devotion he had to being great was second to nobody. And so I think when you talk about AD, if there's a realistic opportunity that he could be playing next year for them, it'd be really scary for a lot of teams, I know that much. And so I think, to me, it's really, Hey, listen, if it happens, it'll be awesome.'"

Poona Ford can finally expect life to get a little easier in Rams' trenches (ramblinfan)

The outcome was better than many had dared to hope for, but the front office did not get everything right. In addition to signing Ford, general manager Les Snead also drafted defensive tackle Ty Hamilton to supply some youthful relief for the hard-working veteran.

The fifth-round rookie contributed little, only adding 11 tackles in light work.

If this defensehopes to get even stronger against the run, someone will need to step out from Ford's shadow. Ford can't keep this unit stingy without some help. Well, it may be on the way sooner than he thinks.
