While it is usually pretty cut and dry, it has taken the Arizona Cardinals until one month before training camp to get their sixth player from their 2026 NFL Draft class signed, as the team announced today they have signed Kaleb Proctor.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has signed Southeastern Louisiana defensive linemanKaleb Proctor, the team's fourth-round (104thoverall) selection in the 2026 NFL Draft, to a four-year contract. The signing took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.

Proctor(6-2, 291) appeared in 48 games (35 starts) in four years at Southeastern Louisiana and finished his college career with 134 tackles (45 solo), 26 tackles for loss, 16.0 sacks, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He was named the Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2025 and also received first-team All-Southland Conference and first-team FCS All-American accolades after starting all 13 games, collecting 43 tackles (19 solo) and establishing career-highs in both sacks (9.0) and tackles for loss (13). In 2024, Proctor was a second-team All-Southland Conference selection after collecting 49 tackles, six tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.

With Proctor's signing, six of the team's seven 2026 NFL Draft picks have signed contracts; only third-round selection QBCarson Beckremains.

We will see when Beck gets in, but for now, good to see Proctor signed and locked in, even if he could be out most of the season.
