Browns ‘won the offseason’ with all their moves

The Cleveland Browns rarely have a quiet offseason. Such is the fate of a team trying to win the AFC North for the first time with no real certainty at the quarterback position. Out is former HC Kevin Stefanski, replaced by HC Todd Monken. Gone are long-standing veterans like DE Myles Garrett, OL Joel Bitonio, OL Wyatt Teller, and TE David Njoku.

NFL free agency and the NFL draft saw the Browns remake their entire offensive line and add weapons for Monken's new offense. The Garrett trade brought back DE Jared Verse and draft capital to try to offset the loss of the team's best player.

According to Josh Edwards of CBS Sports, Cleveland's offseason was the best in the NFL:

The Top 10 is littered with bad teams who needed to improve, along with the Los Angeles Rams, Kansas City Chiefs, and San Francisco 49ers, assumed title contenders.

Winning the offseason has rarely been a problem for the Browns. The key questions moving forward, as always, are whether they win games and whether they finally find the solution to the quarterback problem. For now, at least nationally, Cleveland is getting flowers for their offseason decisions.
