This leftover Prime Day deal comes just weeks before the presumed unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 series later this month, but that doesn't mean it's not a great deal in its own right. Don't let the hybrid design fool you: the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is all power under the hood. The hybrid watch boasts an efficient Exynos processor straight out of the box, plus you get 64GB of onboard storage, a fast-charging battery, and all of the latest health and fitness tracking features from Samsung Health. The 3,000-nit display is bright and easy on the eyes, while the rotating bezel and Quick Buttons are great for users who like precise controls on their watches.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic does have a pretty bulky construction that may not work for all users, and others may simply not enjoy the "squircle" design or 1.34-inch display. Aside from those nitpicks, the only real issue we found with the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic was its steep $500 price tag at launch. Thanks to this Amazon deal, however, that's no longer a problem.
